WHDA wishes to inform clients that the transition from first-to-invent to first-to-file will occur on March 16, 2013. It is expected that USPTO systems may be overloaded in the week before March 16, 2013. Therefore, if clients wish to file an application prior to the March 16, 2013 transition date, notification of this is requested as soon as possible.
